I enjoyed every minute of the yoga retreat, no matter how difficult it was. The structure of each class was just right for me and your additional “deconstruction” of poses was really enlightening. I am so grateful to finally have the benefit of your experience, knowledge and the humor you have in your teaching.
Martin’s classes are, in a word, delightful. He is the master of the all-levels vinyasa class. He brings a wonderful sense of humor, authenticity and humility to his classes that make them very accessible and enjoyable for anyone, no matter what your yoga practice is to you.
Ellen S.
There’s something about Martin’s spirit – his approachability, openness, humor – that make him a delight to learn from and follow. He has no guard, no ego and no expectations. What he does have is a deep knowledge of yoga, compassion and the human condition. In short, he’s the bomb.
Julia M.
Martin Scott is an amazingly talented teacher who “teaches to the student,” understanding each person’s unique strengths and limitations. Martin encourages us to reach and improve, while generously sharing his wisdom and joy as an integral part of the practice.
Bobbi K.
Martin embodies the rare gift of teaching in a way that is accessible to all, creative and different in every class, and with an authentic enthusiasm that is contagious. There are a lot of yoga teachers in the Bay Area, but Martin is one of the absolute best. (His music is cool, too.)
Katy M.
A word about Martin Scott – he IS Union Yoga! His personality, his enthusiasm and true expertise make this yoga studio the BEST!!!!

I cannot speak highly enough of Amy Naber’s unique approach to Yoga! Her instructions and intuitive assistance is spot on! I will always trust her to give me the just-washed feeling of completely giving myself up to Yoga! Thank you, Amy!
Lelan H.
Amy – Your yoga class so inspired me and was exactly what I needed! Thank you. I was so inspired i went on to study to become an instructor! Your restorative yoga is priceless.
Carrie B.
I have been taking private and group yoga classes with Amy for over a year now, and she is the best yoga instructor I’ve had. I always finish the hour feeling worked out, but also relaxed and refreshed. Her space is very inviting — clean, relaxing.
Carrie B.
My gf dragged me to yoga about 6 months ago and even though I liked it from the start I was skeptical how long I will continue going. Amy is really good, very aware of everyone’s level and tailors practices accordingly. The restorative sessions are my favorite – very good to relieve work- and sports-related stress, calm and clear the mind.
Amy Naber is a colleague and highly respected professional. Her standard of care far surpasses that of many in the field of holistic counseling, fitness and yoga providers. I highly recommend Amy Naber. She is an amazing woman.
Alicia L.
Amy is a ‘natural’ at yoga and it’s always a pleasure to attend one of her classes. Her gentle kindness and knowledge of the practice makes me grateful that I am part of the class.
Suzanne C.
Amy is an amazing yoga teacher. Whenever I have a private session with Amy, it is so therapeutic. She really has helped me become more in tune with my body, both physically and spiritually.
Laurie F.
I have been coming to Amy’s class for the last six months now and I cannot express how much of a gift she is. I leave Amy’s classes feeling stronger, more centered, more uplifted and more grounded. She’s just an amazing teacher all around.
Ellen S.
Amy Naber is a real San Franciscan jewel and am grateful anytime I get to attend one of her classes!
Joe M.
Ironically enough, going to yoga classes usually gives me anxiety. But whenever I did yoga with Amy I felt like I entered a space without judgement and complete calmness. She corrected my positions with kindness, never making me feel like I was doing it ‘wrong’ .

Susannah is a fantastic yoga teacher and one of my favorites in SF. Her classes are challenging, flow seamlessly and always nurture the body, mind and spirit. She rocks.
Suzanne S.
Susannah’s classes are both incredibly rigorous and powerfully spiritual. She pushes the body and the mind in ways they’re not expecting, and the result is awesome.
Julia M.
Susannah Freedman supports yoga practitioners with powerful inspiration to flow through many beautifully coordinated postures in every class. Her style blends the mysticism of yoga’s ancestral beginnings with the realities of our everyday-lives.
Matt W.
I go to Susannah’s class for a rigorous vinyasa and transformative self-reflection. By offering passages from the Upanishads, and through beautiful chants Susannah lovingly invites your whole being to the practice whereby you come to know your body and soul more deeply.
Michelle D.
Susannah’s All Levels Vinyasa Flow class that changed my entire orientation to the practice. Her flows are exquisitely composed, her soundtracks are perfection, and I don’t know how she does it exactly, but her class is both intensely challenging and incredibly warm-spirited and welcoming.

I took Stephanie’s All Levels Vinyasa class without having any formal understanding of practicing yoga. She is incredibly knowledgeable about the practice, energetic and confidence-inspiring. No week is complete for me without two of her classes!
Nikhil B.
Stephanie exuberates warmth that makes anyone feel at ease. She is creative at creating sequences that are challenging, yet fun and relaxing.
Anita T.
An evening of yoga with Stephanie Stolorow will revive and relax you. Her teaching voice is as soothing and beautiful as her singing voice. Can’t wait to do it again sometime soon!

I LOVE Julie’s 6 AM class. Her classes are so well thought out, the movements sequenced in such a creative and graceful way so that my body (and mind) feel very tuned afterwards. Julie is an EXCELLENT teacher!
I love Union Yoga! Whenever I am in San Francisco, I always make it a point to take a class or two here. My favorite instructor is Julie Watson. Julie always has a positive message for her students and I always feel great after one of her classes. They’ve done a great job of making the space feel vibrant and yet still secluded from the busy city outside. I highly recommend this place and Julie!

What a delight it is to take Lizzie’s early morning Vinyasa class. I love Lizzie’s teaching style because it includes a wonderful mix of greet-the-day asana, vigorous flow to get your heart pumping, and just the right amount of Yoga wisdom.
Victor G.
Lizzie has a wonderfully warm and peaceful presence that she brings to her classes. She gives clear instructions, focuses on helping you find the right alignment, and also does great hands-on adjustments. I always come away feeling relaxed and refreshed.
